Posturing Analysis by REBA Method to Determine Productive Risk Factors of Muscular Skeletal Disorders and Improving Priorities of Performing Work Procedure in Shahrekord Dentistry Jobs

Abstract

Nowadays, muscular skeletal disorders related to vocation (WMSDs) are devoted the major part of vocational diseases. The prevention of the incidence of these disorders needs a posturing analysis during work and needs an improvement in performing work conditions. The purpose of this study was to investigate the posturing analysis by REBA method in order to determine productive risk factors of muscular skeletal disorders and the improving priorities of performing work procedure. In this descriptive analytic study, the posture of dentists is analyzed during their work by the use of REBA software. The rate of incidence of muscular skeletal disorders is investigated by the Nordic questionnaires as well (P< 0.05). It is considered as a meaningful level. In this applied research study, the incidences of the upsetness of neck and waist and shoulders and wrist are calculated respectively as, 68%, 55%, 41% and 28%. The above mentioned amounts are shown higher ranges for females than males. The upset of Hess relation of thigh and leg is related to work and the upset ness relation of ankle and sole is related to BMI and the upset nessrelation of muscular skeletal disorders and vocational conditions of dentists is meaningful (P
